These mischievous pictures of an outdrawing little prince clad with suggestion and desire was edited by Alister Mackie and shot by Nick Knight for the current issue of AnOtherMan. The shoot was inspired by the neglect of mens underwear, in terms of design and representation in fashion imagery i.e. the usual unadventurous pants donned by an oiled muscle man. Nothing wrong with that per se… But, by commissioning new designs, taking inspiration from starkly sexy black&white images by Robert Mapplethorpe and Horst P. Horst and converting their graphic power into glorious Technicolor, fresh looking possibilities for men's smalls were reached. Most of the undergarments worn by Marko Brozic and Anthony Thomas were custom made from vintage pieces that have been re-worked by a talented and imaginative seamstress.
