Model : Willy Cartier (part 5)

He goes under the name of a jewelry maker, he looks like an Apache from a cowboy & indian movie, and he's a dancer in actuality. His route to modeling sounds like a story. His good friend Henriette thought he was too beautiful for the normal world and dragged him to a model agency, where handsome Willy was promptly offered a contract. As if they had all been waiting for him, next thing you know the Givenchy crew knocked on his door. They instantly booked him for their ad campaign before anyone else could get their hands on him. Without any prior contact with the fashion industry, French model Willy Cartier takes them all by storm although his English is fairly bad. Still, adding to his success as a face for Givenchy and Benetton, he has since enjoyed many a fully booked season's work on the countless shows of the international fashion weeks. Leading magazines like Indie, i-D, NEO2, Arena Homme +, Vogue Hommes Japan, Ghubar, Commons&Sense or FHM Collections and photographers like François Rousseau, Anne Combaz, Karel Losenicky, Justin Wu, Rosa Rendl, Lindsey Wixson or Steve Beckomet are jostling with each other for the boy, and he's happy as long as he still finds the time to do what he likes most : dance.
