Nom de Guerre

This season's collection takes inspiration from the American military theater of operations in Europe during WW2 and is reminiscent of both sides, the Western as well as the Eastern European military. The range of colors consists of sober black, white and gray, which conjures the ideas of protean truths brought about by military intelligence interrogations.
Traditional cotton, waxed cotton and wool suiting fabrics are set off by rubberized cotton fabric utilized in outerwear pieces, and evocative of the protective clothing primarily worn by the Eastern European military officers. Coats are based on standard protective gear; inspired by extreme and adverse weather conditions with streamlined features. Heavy woolen sweaters and cotton tees work as a new breed of camouflage. Finally, graphic tees that are soft, heavily washed standards, based on the leading thinkers of the period, accent the collection of this NYC label.
