With a background in streetwear mixing hip hop and urban cultures with a chic style and being fairly new on the fashion scene, French young designer Eric Lebon stirred it up with these unusual cuts and a bunch of icefrost-haired models. The flannel and satin driven collection includes a wide array of avant-garde pieces ranging from oversized shirts to unique fitting jackets. Overall, the collection uses darker colors from the usual black and gray to navy and an awesome dark red. These silhouettes show great promise for popularity and have a strong sense of street cred and appeal. Possibly influenced by Raf Simons’ earlier “modernwear” or Kim Jones’ experimental apparel but definitely creative and innovative. Someone to keep an eye upon.
