Andrew MacKenzie (part 2)

As per usual, this collection is the expression of a denim couture, and for Andrew MacKenzie, this blue fabric is an experimental material for the creation of new proportions. Unique breakaway shapes generate his style where street, music and history blend in a symphonic "rave rock opera" and Rammstein was in the soundtrack of this show (see videos below). There were a lot of black, dark colors and bright red, tartan galore, Edwardian glam twinks with cranté hair and make-up. Jeans were low and extra-large, the knitwear was jacquard and some sweaters were skilfully enhanced with relief trims. Sleeves were very long. Shirts were either white with a cascade of frills or black and sheer see-through. The staple of the collection was an awesome tight short signature jacket with a faux-waistcoat incorporated that came in many versions. No wonder this spectacular show was the must-see appointment during the mens fash week. Highly trendy, I love.
