New York Magazine journalist Jonah Green's camera couldn't resist a close-up look at the bright-green shorts on Harvard sophomore James Danner, an aspiring opera singer out of NYC who spent the Summer in Munich, Germany and Nice, France thanks to the David Rockfeller Int'l Experience Grants Program. He said he's part of only a small group on campus that tries to dress fashionably. “It’s a lot of sweatpants", James Danner said. "And then you have a few people like me who can’t really conceive of wearing sweatpants every day”. He says he gets his Waspy style sensibilities from his family. "I’m mildly obsessed with the turn of the century, so I wouldn’t be surprised in the next ten years if I sort of went very much towards an Oscar Wilde direction", Jamie said. "But I don’t want to end up a flouncy hipster, so I try and control myself a little bit”.
