Alessandro dell'Acqua

The Naples-born alum of Italian brands like Iceberg and Genny (where Gianni Versace once consulted) launched a knit-heavy men's collection eleven years ago. In addition to overseeing the expansion of his own label, AdA recently served a short stint as creative director for the cashmere-centric brand Malo. The mood was relaxed and casual for this season's collection, where slouchy knits in a muted palette, from calm camel to sand and caramel shades, took to the catwalk. An utterly wearable collection that combined classic-with-a-twist separates (think slightly-shorter-than-normal pants which, perhaps inappropriate for winter months when we think about it, actually looked super-cool and fresh), there was some high octane glamour too, with a pair of copper sequin trousers, accompanying jacket and matching shoes.
