His radically shrunken and meticulously tailored take on the staples of a man's wardrobe made Thom Browne a superstar of men’s fashion -fact. While his business remains relatively modest, it's hard to overstate his influence on the shape of the modern men's suit. And when viewing this season's collection, the images made a strong impression on me. Even an entire outfit that has muted colors such as many of the looks in grayscale were striking. There was a resounding military feel to his show, yet it didn’t look completely somber. All of the outerwear was tailored beautifully. A turn towards nautical on the runway took place when a series of pieces that came out were in bold red and navy. Still, you could recognize the signature tailoring of Browne’s team, so it wasn’t oddly out of place. Of course, there were tons of cropped pant legs to remind you who this was. I think that he tries to inject humor into his shows and I commend him for that.
