Missoni

The Missoni juggernaut has produced everything from womenswear to fragrances, home furnishings, and a budding boutique-hotel empire, but the brand is rightfully famous for its colorful, instantly identifiable patterns -and the expertly crafted sweaters on which you see them. Angela Missoni launched the men's line in 2001 and this season the men at Missoni are nothing if not modern and cool. Layering up in scarves, cardigans, jackets and jumpers, the look is effortlessly chic, seemingly thrown together, yet with an underlying sophistication in the deep royal blue and lush green, grassy color palette. Pants in traditional fabrics pay homage to Mary Tourtel's comic strip character Rupert Bear while the label's signature chevrons have been married up with knits reminiscent of geographical landscapes or, at times, border on the vividness of animal prints.
